Kat Pugh APGI

Kat is an Accredited Pet Gundog Instructor covering Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

Sharing her life with a Hungarian Vizsla sparked Kat’s passion for pet gundog training and the unique relationship between dog and handler. She is passionate about helping owners better understand their dogs, building calm, rewarding partnerships based on trust, communication and enjoyment.

Kat’s training approach is supportive, practical and tailored to each individual dog and owner. She believes that effective training should not only produce reliable results, but should also strengthen the bond between dog and handler, creating confidence at home and out about.

Working with all gundog breeds, Kat particularly enjoys helping owners channel natural gundog instincts in a positive and achievable way, whether that is through improving recall, engagement, focus or overall connection with their dog.

From October, Kat will be offering a range of services including puppy training, pet gundog classes and 1-1 training sessions.Her aim is to provide approachable, down-to-earth training in a friendly and encouraging environment where both dogs and owners can thrive together.
