Sharing your home with a gundog is awesome, even if on every walk they remind you that they are hunters, hunters that have been selectively bred to be intelligent, energetic and enthusiastic. It’s these qualities make them popular pets and why they endear themselves to us so much. However, as you are probably aware unless these traits find a positive outlet they can become bored, ill-mannered and destructive members of our families.

But this doesn’t have to be.

By progressing through a series of graded Pet Gundog training classes you’ll learn how to make your dog easier to live with, and, as you acquire new skills and gain confidence you’ll be able to channel his inherent instincts and train him as his breeding intended.

The training process serves as the foundation of your relationship together and it would be a pleasure to help you begin to positively interact and understand each other better. By training your dog he will become respectful of you as you provide positive leadership and in turn he will learn how to behave appropriately in your world just as you will understand how he views the world around him.

Through fortnightly classes that are structured, motivational and fun you can have a happier and fulfilled gundog that you are proud to show off to friends and family whether in the home or in the field.
