It is fair to say that Katy is an animal lover and gundogs are her true passion. In her profession as a veterinary nurse she sees gundogs and their owners on a daily basis. Over the years she often engaged in conversations with owners about their breeds and provided occasional training advice.

This experience triggered her decision to qualify as an accredited pet gundog instructor and become able to help pet gundog owners in a more professional way.

Based in Malvern, Worcestershire Katy has always trained her own dogs and is well aware how much time and effort it takes to train a dog successfully. The foundation of all training is to build a bond with your dog, and this alone is not an easy task.

Katy is not just good in engaging with animals but also with people which will put you at ease. Her calm and patient approach takes away the pressure and makes space for you to relax and focus on your dog and its training.

Originally gundogs were bred to assist humans in their hunting pursuits.Hence most gundog breeds are highly energetic and driven.Without structured training and clear boundaries, the much - loved pet can cause more stress and chaos rather than being a valued family member.
