Carly’s lifelong love of and passion for dogs and gundog breeds is coupled with a decade of teaching experience to bring you her dog training business, Artemis Dog Training, based in West Oxfordshire. Whatever your training goals may be for your dog, her approach of putting the relationship between dog and handler at the centre of everything, makes for a truly individualised experience.

Sharing your home with a gundog breed is a privilege; their intelligence, potential and desire to please makes them very special indeed. However, such traits can present challenges, too, with some gundog breeds developing negative behaviours as a means of satisfying their need for exercise, stimulation or attention. Key to a harmonious homelife with one of these breeds is channelling their energy, providing cognitive stimulation and allowing them an appropriate outlet for their instinctive behaviour.

The gundog classes at Artemis offer the ideal opportunity to explore this, as Carly guides you through the different levels of gundog training, from Beginner to Working Gundog; it is an incredible journey to experience with your canine companion.

Not only will gundog training at Artemis allow you and your dog to learn new skills and enjoy new experiences together, the training will also help you achieve a well-balanced calm and settled dog when at home.
