The Accredited Pet Gundog Instructor Programme

Lez Graham launched The Accredited Pet Gundog Instructor programme in 2016, to train trainers in this fabulous specialism so that owners of pet gundogs could attend gundog training with confidence, knowing that they, and their dogs, were in the hands of knowledgeable and rigorously trained experts who are the leaders in their field.

Ten years on, Lez has taken apart the original programme and put it back together over two distinct stages.

Only a select number of places are available on each intake and successful applicants will, upon completion of the Foundation Certificate in Pet Gundog Training(stage one) and the APGI training(stage two) be able to call themselves Accredited Pet Gundog Instructors.

As an Accredited Pet Gundog Instructor, you will be licensed to use not only the coveted The Pet Gundog ® logo, but also the APGI® logo, which will differentiate you from other gundog and pet dog trainers.

With its monthly Zoom sessions and online chat this is so more than a training course: it is a comprehensive, fully integrated mentoring and professional development programme which embraces the highest standards of teaching, training, and learning.

This programme offers the opportunity, through personal commitment, to reflect on and share expertise with other likeminded professionals, to learn from and be inspired by the very best in the industry; it is a career opportunity, unique to individual trainers to grow and achieve excellence.

Throughout the programme Lez Graham will be teaching and mentoring in her unique style and, while being ably assisted by Richard Reeve and Christine Collins, will prepare you to set up as a highly skilled APGI running your own Accredited Pet Gundog training classes for which you’ll receive a comprehensive training package.

So, if you are serious about being a successful dog trainer and are passionate about all things gundog then this is an opportunity to train with the best.
