Corin’s passion for dogs and the outdoors began in her childhood on Vancouver Island, Canada, where the mountains were a daily backdrop and adventure was always just around the corner. Now based on the edge of the Peak District in Sheffield, she brings together a love of nature, gundog breeds, and purposeful training through Moor to Mountain Dog Training.
Corin shares her life with her two chocolate spaniels, Luna and Maple, her husband Rob, and her two daughters who, like their mum, are always up for an adventure. What started as a personal journey into understanding and training her own gundogs soon grew into something much bigger. Friends and fellow dog owners began asking for help with their dogs, and Corin discovered a deep fulfilment in guiding both people and dogs towards better communication and a stronger bond.
Wanting to build on her natural ability and enthusiasm, Corin enrolled in the Accredited Pet Gundog Instructor(APGI) programme with Lez Graham. Corin brought her love of learning, knack for clear communication, and creative spark to the APGI programme, diving into the practical, outdoors-based training with enthusiasm. Now fully qualified, she blends solid know-how with a relaxed, friendly style that helps both dogs and their owners feel at ease—whether out in the field or in everyday life.
Corin offers pet gundog training in small, supportive group classes and one-to-one sessions. She works with all breeds, not just traditional gundogs, and her aim is to make training feel like an extension of daily life, relatable, achievable, and rooted in adventure. Whether you’re looking to build solid foundations, explore gundog work for the first time, or develop more advanced skills, Corin will guide you with a calm, clear, and thoughtful approach that’s tailored to both dog and owner.
With a background in marketing and years of experience running workshops and events, Corin has a natural flair for communication and connection. She brings this same energy into her training sessions, making them approachable, effective, and above all, fun.
